Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Repair in Hillsboro, TX
Hillsboro sits at one of Texas’s busiest highway junctions — the point where I-35 splits into I-35W toward Fort Worth and I-35E toward Dallas — about 35 miles north of Waco. That junction has built a local economy around travel centers, hotels, chain restaurants, convenience stores, and the Hillsboro Premium Outlets shopping district. Every one of those businesses runs on commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment that has to keep working through brutal Texas summers and constant freight-corridor traffic. Texian Cold Trading Co. LLC is the team Hill County operators call when something goes down.
Refrigeration & HVAC for Hillsboro’s I-35 Corridor
The mix of retail, hospitality, and travel-center businesses along Hillsboro’s I-35 frontage means we work on a wide range of equipment in any given week:
- Walk-in coolers and reach-in coolers and freezers for outlet-area restaurants, grocery, and c-stores
- Ice machine repair — because a dead ice machine at a busy travel center is an emergency, not a scheduled fix
- HVAC repair and HVAC installation for outlet retail, hotel lobbies, and chain restaurants
- Hot-side cooking equipment repair for QSR and full-service kitchens
- Preventive maintenance plans that keep multi-unit operators ahead of summer breakdowns
Local Service, Not a Dallas or Fort Worth Dispatcher
We hold Texas HVAC license TACLA89963C and are R290 certified, with 25+ years under founder Clayton Kerr. Because our shop is in Waco, getting a tech to Hillsboro is a straight run up I-35 — usually under an hour door to door. That matters when a Dallas or Fort Worth contractor would charge a truck-roll fee just to dispatch a tech south. We service the major commercial refrigeration and HVAC brands, and we’re factory authorized for Norlake and Master-Bilt, an authorized Norcold agent/dealer, and an Atosa authorized service tech. We stock common parts on the truck, so first-trip fixes are the norm.
Hill County Service Area
Beyond Hillsboro proper, we cover the surrounding communities including Itasca, Hubbard, Abbott, Aquilla, Covington, Penelope, Malone, and Mount Calm. We also handle Lake Whitney businesses through our nearby Whitney service area, and Hill County feeds directly into our Waco hub.
