Diagnosing a capillary-tube restriction takes gauges and a methodical read of the sealed system — not a guess. A trained technician tracks pressures and temperatures across the system to confirm the restriction sits at the metering device before opening anything up, then clears or replaces the affected line and recharges the R290 system to the exact factory weight.
