A Waco commercial facility called in September 2026 with its walk-in cooler not maintaining temperature. Clay found the system low on refrigerant and located a leak at the evaporator. He added 2 lbs of R-404A to restore cooling for now, but the leak itself was not repaired, so the charge will keep dropping. He recommended replacing the evaporator and submitted an estimate for the work. Adding refrigerant is only a stopgap when a leak is present, because the system keeps losing charge until the leaking component is replaced. For walk-in cooler service, call 254-272-2714.
