Secured a Loose Panel Causing High Pressure Trips on a Waco Restaurant Rooftop Unit 09.10.26
A Waco restaurant's rooftop air conditioning kept shutting down on high pressure, leaving the building running hot. Clay traced the trips to an access panel the previous maintenance contractor had left unsecured on the packaged unit. With the panel open, the condenser fan pulled air through the easiest path and bypassed the coil, so the unit could not reject heat and head pressure climbed until the high pressure switch shut the compressor off. Clay secured the panel and the unit returned to normal operation with no parts or refrigerant needed. For commercial HVAC service in Waco and across the Heart of Texas, call 254-272-2714.
