Replaced a Sticking Temperature Control on a Clifton Restaurant Walk-In Cooler 09.30.26
A Clifton, TX restaurant walk-in cooler was running at 26 degrees, cold enough to start freezing product that should be held in the mid-thirties. Clay traced the problem to the mechanical temperature control, which was sticking and kept the system cooling after the box reached temperature. He replaced the control and set it to hold the walk-in at 35 degrees. He also calibrated the kitchen's external thermometer so staff readings match what the box is actually doing.
