Replaced a Seized Glycol Chiller Pump Motor at a Waco Restaurant
Clay · August 17, 2026 · Near Jack Kultgen Freeway, Waco TX 76711

A Waco restaurant reported its glycol system running hot, with product at the far end of the loop warming up and the system no longer holding temperature. Clay checked the power pack and found the circulating pump seized, which stopped flow through the glycol loop entirely. He installed a replacement carbonator-style pump motor, the standard circulator on this class of glycol system, and confirmed fluid was moving through the loop again with the unit cycling normally before he left. Restored same day. For commercial glycol chiller service across the Heart of Texas, call Texian Cold at 254-272-2714. Texas TACLA89963C licensed and R290 Certified.
