Replaced a Failed Run Capacitor on a Meridian Store Beer Cave 09.22.26
A beer cave at a Meridian, TX store was heating up instead of cooling, and the compressor on the condensing unit was not running. Clay traced the fault to the run capacitor, which had failed in the late-summer heat. Without a working run capacitor the compressor cannot start and stay running, so nothing removes heat from the box while the evaporator fans keep circulating warm air.
