A Waco business called when its Manitowoc ice machine shut down and stopped making ice. Clay found scale buildup at the water distributor and a water inlet valve that was barely trickling water into the unit. The problem traced back to water treatment: the machine was fed through a charcoal filter, which is the wrong media for an ice machine, and a dual-head filtration system is the right fit for this application.
