Installed a Temporary Condenser Fan Motor at a Waco Restaurant
A Waco restaurant called on a July afternoon with a rooftop refrigeration condensing unit losing ground in triple-digit heat. Clay found the right-side condenser fan motor dead and the sight glass flashing. The deeper problem was inherited: a prior contractor had fitted evaporator fan motors in both condenser positions, a duty mismatch that guarantees repeat failures on a hot roof. The correct condenser motor was not available locally, so Clay installed a temporary motor, added two pounds of R-404A, and watched box temperature begin falling before he left. A replacement condenser estimate is going out. For commercial refrigeration service in Waco, call 254-272-2714. Texas TACLA89963C, R290 Certified.
