Found a Plugged Liquid Line Drier on an AC System at a Waco Apartment Complex 10.12.26
A Waco apartment complex called with an air conditioning unit that was running but not cooling well. On arrival Clay found the unit running with the liquid line sweating. He traced the problem to a plugged liquid line drier that was driving the compressor past its pressure rating and causing it to start bypassing. The evaporator coil was also dirty and due for cleaning, and the liquid and suction lines were undersized for R-410A, so he recommended replacing them. A repair estimate was submitted the same day.
