A walk-in freezer at an Axtell restaurant was icing up, with inspections coming up. Clay traced the problem to a failed defrost termination klixon. That small thermostat on the evaporator coil tells the defrost cycle when the ice has melted and it is safe to go back to cooling. When it fails, defrost can end before the coil is clear, and frost builds a little more every cycle until it chokes off airflow.
