Cleaned an Impacted Condenser Coil on a Floral Cooler at a Waco Flower Shop 08.26.26
A flower shop in Waco, TX called with a three-door floral cooler that had climbed to 110 degrees on an August afternoon. Clay pulled the grille and found the condenser coils impacted solid, and the outdoor condensing unit overgrown with grass and litter to the point that almost no air reached the coil face. Coils were cleaned and airflow restored the same visit. A second walk-in was throwing water off its evaporator fans from a frozen coil, so the condenser disconnect was shut down to let it thaw and a return visit is scheduled to find the cause.
