Cleaned an Impacted Condenser and Fouled Ice Sensor on a Waco Restaurant Nugget Ice Machine 10.22.26

Clay · October 22, 2026 · Near Bosque Boulevard, Waco TX 76710

A Waco restaurant's lobby nugget ice machine was overdue for maintenance and its controls were acting on bad information. Clay found the condenser coil and fan matted with lint and dust, restricting the airflow the machine needs to shed heat during the freeze cycle, and cleaned the condenser on site. The ice proximity sensor that reports the ice level to the controls had also fouled and was misleading the machine, so he cleaned it as well and returned the unit to normal operation. Mineral buildup means descaling should follow on the next visit. For commercial ice machine service in Waco, call 254-272-2714. Texas TACLA89963C, R290 Certified.
