Cleaned a Walk-In Freezer Condenser Coil at a Groesbeck Restaurant
Clay · July 24, 2026 · 303 N Ellis St, Groesbeck, TX 76642, USA

A Groesbeck restaurant reported its walk-in freezer running warmer than setpoint, with the compressor starting and stopping instead of holding a run cycle. Clay checked the evaporator first and found the fans turning and the coil clear, which moved the diagnosis outside to the rooftop condensing unit. Gauges showed the high pressure safety cutting the compressor out on a condenser coil loaded with debris. He washed that coil, washed the condenser serving the walk-in cooler on the same roof, and adjusted the door closer so the walk-in door latches on its own. The compressor held a normal run cycle before he left. Call 254-272-2714 for commercial refrigeration service. Texian Cold is licensed Texas TACLA89963C and R290 Certified.
