A Waco food store called in July 2026 with its air conditioning down. Clay found the rooftop unit frozen over and traced the freeze-up to a failed fan motor. He replaced it with an OEM motor, and the unit came back online. When a fan stops moving air across a cooling coil, the coil temperature drops below freezing and ice keeps building until the system can no longer cool the space. A frozen rooftop unit is usually a symptom, so the cause has to be found before the ice is simply melted off. For commercial HVAC service, call 254-272-2714.
