Corrected a Setpoint and Cleaned Condenser Coils on a Waco Bar Freezer 08.26.26
An upright freezer at a Waco, TX bar was running at 9 degrees and would not pull down to a safe frozen holding temperature. Clay checked the control before touching the refrigeration side and found the setpoint sitting at 7.3 degrees, well above where a freezer belongs. He lowered it to minus 1 degree, then cleaned condenser coils that had fouled enough to restrict airflow across the coil face. Product stacked to the top at both ends of the evaporator was blocking return air, and staff were shown where to stop stacking. The box was back in range the same visit with no parts replaced.
