Replaced a Grounded Freezer Compressor at an Axtell Walk-In Startup
A new restaurant build near N 9th St in Axtell TX was bringing its walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer online when the freezer compressor tested grounded. Clay replaced the compressor along with the filter drier, contactor and associated electrical components, then charged the system and started it. The cooler came up clean and held under its own controls. During checkout the evaporator fan delay was also found faulty, so he bypassed it as a temporary measure to keep the fans running while the box pulled down, with a return visit set to replace the control.
